All The Makeup Brands You Need To Create Your Own 'Euphoria' Looks

I'm sure most of you have either seen or at least heard of the HBO series 'Euphoria'. If you haven't, let me give you a little description of what this series is about. Euphoria follows a high schooler named Rue, played by Zendaya, her struggle with drug addiction, relationships, family, etc. Each episode focuses on an individual character of the show that is involved in Rue's life and their own struggles as well. This series is extremely powerful and raw in its depiction of real-life struggles many teens experience today.

While many fans, including myself, are obsessed with the show, Euphoria has created a trend across the internet: psychedelic makeup. All the characters throughout the show are seen wearing unique, glittery makeup looks and the world has become OBSESSED with it. If you have a Tiktok account, then I am sure you have seen the thousands of creators who have recreated looks from the show! In this blog post, I am going to give you all the products and info you need to create your own looks and live out your own Euphoria fantasy!!!

1. LemonheadLA

First up we have the makeup brand LemonheadLA. These are the EXACT glitters used on many of the characters in the show! I personally own two of these glitters, Houdini (which is worn by the queen Zendaya herself) & Phantom and I am OBSESSED with them. They are so stunning and are definitely worth every cent! You can even purchase the entire "Euphoria" set, which includes every single glitter used on the show! The entire "Euphoric Glitter Pro-Squad" costs $98.

2. Face Gems

Another ESSENTIAL product for euphoric makeup is face gems. The cast can be seen wearing rhinestones in many different scenes of the show, especially the character Maddy. I was able to get an assortment of face gems from Amazon for only $7.99!!! Adding rhinestones to your euphoria makeup look really takes it to another level and you will even be able to recreate this exact look of Maddy!

3. Morphe Palettes

In order to achieve these incredibly colorful looks, you need to have a good makeup palette to do so! Well, you're in luck because I did the digging for you. Morphe is a great website for palettes with vibrant colors! The palette I recommend would be this 10G Glsen Up Artistry Palette. And guess what? It is going for $12 on their website RIGHT NOW. This palette has some great glitters and many of their other palettes do as well!

4. Colourpop!

The next brand I recommend is Colourpop! and I have a few product suggestions from this one. First off I recommend their 'feeling euphoric' glitter gel mini vault. This set comes with 12 glitter gels for only $40!! Unfortunately, they are currently sold out of this bundle, but sign up for their email list to be notified when they restock because you do not want to miss these STUNNING glitters. Another product I would recommend from Colourpop is their volumizing mascara! These cost $8 and come in blue and purple! Lastly, Colourpop has some great palettes that are extremely affordable! I definitely recommend giving their website a look for some products to help you with your euphoria creation.

5. NYXcosmetics

Lastly, I recommend NYX cosmetics for some great products that will take your euphoria look to the next level. First, they have Vivid Brights Crème Colour liners that are stunning! These liners come in an assortment of. vibrant colors!

They also have a great selection of liquid liners and glitter palettes that you should definitely check out! These products could help you to recreate this look of Maddy from Euphoria!

Hello ya'll! If you read my "About me" page, then you already know a little bit about who I am, but I wanted to create a separate blog post really introducing myself! So let's begin...shall we?

My name is Lanie Shea. I live in a small town in Ohio and I am a twenty-year-old college student. Growing up in Ohio has given me an immense appreciation for wildlife and the outdoors. All of my high school career I played volleyball, but once I graduated I took up horse riding. I am a member of my colleges Equestrian team and spend a large majority of my time riding. While being an equestrian is a HUGE portion of my personality, I also have a passion for fashion and living an amazing life. I love to do things that make me feel amazing. One thing that makes me feel amazing is traveling the world and seeing so many new things. Unfortunately, COVID19 has put a bit of a hold on that hobby of mine.

BUT it is SO important to make the best out of a bad situation and do whatever you can to create a happy life for yourself. My main goal in life is to live in the moment and never have any regrets. For a big portion of my life I suffered from depression, which made it hard for me to live the life I wanted to. But, I worked hard and got help in order to feel better. Now that I do, I am doing everything in my power to be nothing short of happy!

8 Movies That Will Motivate You To Chase Your Dream Life

I know we are ALL bored in quarantine, so I have created a list of movies that motivate me personally in regards to achieving my goals in life. Hopefully these movies will do the same for you! And if not, they are still AMAZING feel-good movies and some of my favorites of all time!

1. The Devil Wears Prada

Meryl Streep portrays the *ICONIC* character of Miranda Priestly in this fashion-filled film. This film follows a college graduate who lands a job in a huge fashion magazine as she has to work as an assistant to Miranda Priestly, her boss. Let's just say its not an easy task, but I would take that job IN A HEART BEAT. As someone who has goals of working in the fashion industry, this movie is a total motivator for me and hopefully will do the same for you all!

2. Soul Surfer

Next up we have Soul Surfer. If you haven't heard of this movie, it is based off of the true story of Bethany Hamilton, a surfer who was attacked by a tiger shark, which ultimately resulted in her losing her arm. This movie is a tear-jerker, but none-the-less an amazing motivator as you follow Bethany's journey to being able to surf again. I was OBSESSED with this movie for the longest time and trust me I still am. Bethany Hamilton is such an influential and inspiring woman who has achieved amazing things despite having the odds against her.

3. Secretariat

If you love horses as much as I do, then you will love this movie. I'm sure most of you have heard of Secretariat. In 1973, he became the first Triple Crown winner in 25 years. In the Belmont Stakes, he won by 31 lengths, which is considered one of the greatest races in history. Secretariat goes down in history as one of the greatest racehorses there ever was and this movie follows his rise to victory. If you like this movie, you will also love the movie Seabiscuit, which is another true story that follows a winning racehorse.

4. Rocky

The Rocky movies are CLASSICS, as they should be. If you've never heard of Rocky Balboa, then you better grab some popcorn and rent these movies off of Youtube because you will not be disappointed. This movie follows the inspiring journey of a boxer who climbs his way to the top after being doubted and underestimated by so many. If you have been struggling to find the motivation to exercise recently, these movies will change that real quick. Not only that, but Rocky is such a sweetie that it will melt your heart, especially with Adrian.

5. Hidden Figures

This biographical film follows the journey of the three women working for NASA that were the brains behind the launch of John Glenn into orbit. If you're in the mood for some girl power, then this is the movie for you. Such a brilliant film!!

6. A League of Their Own

Thats right...THERE'S NO CRYING IN BASEBALL!! This movie is another one for women empowerment, which I LOVE. This movie portrays the story of the real-life All-American Girls Pro Baseball League, who strive for success and equality even with all odds stacked against them. Not only is this film motivational, it is hilarious!

7. Silver Linings Playbook

THIS. MOVIE. I just watched this movie for the first time a few months ago and it instantly became my new favorite! One reason being that I love Bradley Cooper and Jennifer Lawrence and they are brilliant in this film. If you haven't seen this film, add it to your list!

8. Call Me By Your Name

Okay first of all, I had to post two GIFs for this movie because I am so extremely passionate about and obsessed with it. Call Me By Your Name. Timothée Chalamet. Armie Hammer. Northern Italy. Incredible. I have so much I could say about this move and DON'T EVEN GET ME STARTED ON THE BOOK. Ugh. Fabulous. CMBYN is a film set in Northern Italy following young Elio as he and one of his fathers interns fall in love with one another. This movie is beautifully directed and it will leave you wishing you were spending the summer in Northern Italy. Each scene is a work of art and the actors perfectly portray the chemistry between one another.
